Play Festival

Festival information

If you like all things circusy, having fun with a friendly community of individuals, learning new skills and making new friends while dancing to music and watching the finest shows then PLAY Festival is the perfect little festival for you.

PLAY Festival will be held from Wednesday 17 August to Sunday 21 August 2016 in our new home Cabourne Parva in Lincolnshire.

You can find out more about where we are here

You may know Cabourne Parva as the home of the Jugglincolnvention however they’re having a break in 2016 and Anna Inman has not only introduced us to this amazing family run farm and community venue but has also come on board to the PLAY crew to help us with our relocation to Lincolnshire.

We have all the space we could want here – and more – a large camping field, a separate area for live in vehicles and family camping with lots of on-site facilities (no porta loos!) across the site. There’s great disabled access too as the site is open and mostly quite flat!

The site has a number of different areas, a big and little kids play area, a converted barn which is home to a full bar, lots of magical woodland and grass spaces, even a stage buried in the woods with a canopy of trees and lots more.

Coming by Public Transport?

The PLAY Bus will be running on the Wednesday and the Sunday and will collect you from Barnetby le Wold train station (just north of Cabourne Parva). It will be running at the following approximate times:

WEDNESDAY 17th (Times picking up from Barnetby le Wold station)
12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:30, 17:30, 18:30, 19:30
SUNDAY 21ST (Times picking up from the main gate at Cabourne Parva)

If you’re using a local bus service, the #53 bus is the nearest and is the final route # no matter which direction you arrive from. The nearest bus stop is Caistor Filling Station but is a 3 mile walk to the site from here. If you have lots of luggage you may want to call a friend to pick you up or if your route allows use the PLAY Bus from Barnetby le Wold train station.
